The Journey
Cleans Your Body Soul Spirit

Most people begin a journey to get somewhere, however the most common question is where do you begin?

The Journey began just a few short years ago with the death of my youngest brother. He was only 30 years old. He suffered all his life with diabetes. He came into the world sick with anemia and other illnesses that made the doctors wonder how he even survived in the womb. He technically should not have been born. He was under weight about 4 1/2 pounds and barely alive. My mother convinced the doctors that she knew what to do to get him well. Reluctantly the doctors let him go home with her, since they pretty much had given him up to live only a few days more. My mother being the stubborn, loving mother she was, refused to let her only son die. She took him home that cold February day and she nursed him back to health. She fed him anything that wasn't nailed down. She breast fed him and fed him all natural grains, that were grounded up very carefully, so that he could swallow easily. She took him back for his follow up visit, the doctors were amazed, he weighed 10 pounds in just 2 weeks. The doctors told her he was still very ill and he would only live a few months.

She took him home and gave him home remedies that were past down from generation to generation. All Natural remedies like herbs and fresh juices. She took him back to the doctors and again they were stunned. They told her if he saw his 1st birthday it would be a miracle. When he reached his 10th birthday, they said if he lived to see his 13th birthday, he would go in the history books of the hospital. He lived past all the benchmarks given by the doctors, so they finally said, "he is a miracle boy"! He is the reason I believe in miracles. My brother was the kindest most gentle person I have ever met. He never complained, even though he was unable to do the simple things in life we all take for granted, like starting a family or having a career. Most of his life was spent in hospitals or in his bedroom. You would not have known how many people he inspired until you saw his funeral, there was standing room only. He inspired me to become a more compassionate and patient person. I was blessed to have known him.

When he died, my mother died a year later. We knew it was from a broken heart. We were devastated to say the least, we didn't even know she was sick. She went to her doctor faithfully every 6 months, and was always given a clean bill of health. One week after her last doctors visit she passed. The doctor gave her a clean bill of health as usual and a new set of drugs. She thought she was healthy, her doctor told her so. When she was feeling tired and we know now that she was very ill, she never complained. She always had a smile for you. She was my rock and my biggest fan. She gave the best advice. Her wisdom and strength gave me confirmations and affirmations to life. I can 't believe she left this world so soon. I miss her very much, but I thank God for the blessing of knowing such a remarkable woman.

This incredible woman was only 60 years old, however she was a very heavy smoker and as she mourned for the loss her only son, she  began to smoke even more. Her diet was poor because she was on a fixed income, she couldn't afford healthy foods. (What a world we live in, the healthy foods are too expensive to buy). My mother was on a lot of unnecessary drugs, given to her by her drug pushing doctor. My mother died of heart disease. Wow, that was so very close to me, because I smoked cigarettes, ate red meat, had poor sleeping and eating habits, no exercise, little to no spiritual awareness. I was on over-the-counter drugs, as well as prescribed drugs. I was sleep walking through life. I was on a stormy sea to destruction. My wake up call was louder than ever, and couldn't be ignored any longer. I opened my eyes and realized I have to change my life. I stopped smoking, stopped taking ALL Drugs, became a vegetarian and went green. Not all at once, it's been a tough journey.

My journey continued, when I asked God to help me. I asked him, to tell me where to start my journey to become a healthy person. I began to devour books, but every book I read told me to start my journey with a Inner Cleans. The Makers Diet Book suggested I start with a Colonic. I had no idea what that was, so I read more books.

Finally, I went to get a colonic! I know now that God lead me to that colon therapist. Wow, what a rush, I could feel my body coming alive again. I felt alive for the first time in years. Then I went further in my journey and received the massage of a lifetime. I cried in my very first session. My massage therapist was very understanding, she cried with me. I'll never forget how important a massage is for releasing stress and tension. I very quickly became interested in my spiritual health, it was in need of healing because it was in shambles. I studied my Bible everyday, and found that God Loves Me, and all I have to do is believe. Wow, what a concept. I could do that, because I loved God too. He had worked miracles in my life, he gave me a beautiful Mother and Brother to learn from. I was healthy, my family was healthy and I was very blessed.

So, I prayed and said to him, "I believe, please guide me". I heard him say to me "Get Your House In Order, I'm Coming Soon". I literally heard him say this to me. My house is my BODY, so I went to work on it. I work on my body, soul and spirit every single day.  Although it still has missing elements to it, it's under construction and because of this journey, construction is easy.

God has lead me on a exciting path that has crossed the paths of remarkable people. He put an amazing man in my life, my husband. God gave him the gift of carpentry. He took this clinic in it's raw, ugly, dead state and single handedly made it come alive. I have an amazing daughter who is wise beyond her years. She has been my voice of hope and a counselor. I can't forget to mention my sister, she has been a true confidant. She encourages me to continue with my journey, no matter how the evil one tries to stop me. I have met amazing women like Cathy Shea my teacher, who gave me confirmation, that I'm on the right path. There are so many awesome people to thank for their support, kindness and prayers, it would take pages upon pages to fill. But, they know who they are! Thank You & God Bless You All!!

Fair Haven Wellness Clinic is my testimony to Wellness! All the intricate parts of this journey are too many to mention, just know this, God has brought me to this path and it helped me to find true wellness. If you are seeking to find your way in life, let us know how we may help.

My prayer is that God leads souls to Fair Haven Wellness Clinic for a safe harbor, to find their Journey, in a weary world.
